History
AdamsonJones was established in 2000, and has grown rapidly through the recruitment of high calibre personnel and the continual acquisition of new clients.
Originally located in Nottingham's historic Lace Market area, the firm relocated in 2004 to BioCity Nottingham, the UK’s largest bioscience and healthcare innovation centre. BioCity provides a unique and vibrant environment, giving the firm and its clients access to an extensive business support network. Due to continued growth, we relocated within BioCity in September 2008 to our present offices in the BioCity Laurus Building, the third phase of the BioCity development intended to accommodate the larger companies on site.
From our beginnings as a single-practitioner firm, we have now grown to a mid-sized IP boutique, with technical expertise across all IP and technical areas, from chemistry and biotech to mechanical engineering and advanced physics, and active patent, trade mark and design practices.
AdamsonJones prides itself on its forward-looking ethos, with an ongoing program of investment in technology and professional development.
We are committed to bringing out the best in our people. Our commitment to improving our business methods is manifested in our drive towards the paperless office, all our files now being stored electronically and being simultaneously accessible to all members of staff from their desktop PCs.
Our determination to achieve greater efficiency is dictated by our desire to do the best that we can for our clients, and our conviction that what is best for our clients is also best for us.
