AdamsonJones celebrated its tenth anniversary at BioCity Nottingham with a drinks reception for clients, fellow tenants and friends on Friday 16 January.
Established in 2000, AdamsonJones moved into BioCity ten years ago to work alongside fellow companies that are committed to the life sciences sector. Since then, AdamsonJones has quadrupled in size, transforming into a mid-sized IP boutique with over 20 employees. Furthermore, AdamsonJones has invested heavily in the industries it serves and has offices at both BioCity and MediCity – centres at the heart of the life sciences sector in the East Midlands.
Dr Steve Jones, Chairman and Founder of AdamsonJones said, “Being part of the BioCity community has allowed us to collaborate and share knowledge with many progressive organisations. It has provided a strong base from which we have established relationships with most companies in BioCity and also with other innovative businesses in the healthcare and life sciences sector locally, nationally and internationally, something we intend to continue to build upon.”
He continued, “Furthermore, being in BioCity has also helped us to provide an attractive and engaging environment in which to work, which has contributed to our excellent employee retention. Indeed, the six employees that relocated to BioCity in 2004 are still with us, and our success owes a great deal to that continuity.”
The informal event to mark the occasion included a presentation from Glenn Crocker, CEO of BioCity, and the cutting of a cake by Chairman Steve Jones.
