Eilidh Pugh is a graduate in Medicinal Chemistry, with a 1st Class Masters of Chemistry degree from the University of Leeds. Eilidh was awarded the Crabtree Prize for the best performance in the final year of the degree scheme, during which she completed a research project entitled “Investigations towards the asymmetric synthesis of ß-phenylethylamines”. Prior to joining AdamsonJones, Eilidh was engaged in coordinating external research projects for a major PLC, which involved considerable exposure to intellectual property issues. Eilidh joined AdamsonJones in 2004, and qualified as both a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2008. Her practice involves mainly patent drafting and prosecution across a wide range of subject matter, predominantly in the chemical, pharmaceutical and biomedical fields. Eilidh is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys, and a member of the European Patents Institute.
