AdamsonJones jumps for charity
On Saturday 29 September, David Gwilliam, Leighanne Gray and Sri Dhevi Santhana Dass will be taking to the skies at Langar Airfield to undertake a tandem skydive. This incredible challenge will give our 'jumpers' the biggest adrenaline rush they could ever imagine, as they exit the plane at a height of 13,500 feet and soar through the air at 120 mph.
The team is taking part in the jump to raise funds for our nominated charity - Nottinghamshire Hospice, which provides end of life day care to over 18's living with a terminal illness. They also offer 'Hospice at Home' overnight care to give carers a break and a rare opportunity to get a good night's sleep. These invaluable services allow patients to stay at home and avoid going into hospital or into care, and gives carers time for themselves. However, the charity relies heavily on fundraising to keep its doors open, with just 25% of funding being provided by the NHS.
We are collecting donations for our jumpers via our online fundraising page. For more information or to donate securely online please click on the link below to view our online fundraising page.
