New Trade Mark Law in China

A revised trade mark law will come into effect in China on 1 May 2014. The revisions include harsher financial penalties for trade mark infringement, enhanced protection for well-known trade marks, and the inclusion of bad faith as a ground for refusal and invalidation of trade mark protection.
